The medieval old town of Navarrete was the first in La Rioja to be declared a Cultural Heritage Site , as well as a Historic-Artistic Ensemble.
The main church houses one of the largest Baroque altarpieces in Spain and the only original censer in our country, in addition to the Santiago de Compostela "botafumeiro".
Due to the quality of the local clay, Navarrete is one of the leading pottery centers in the country, and you can see firsthand how the master craftsmen work.
